Lynn Embrey – Music Minister

Mrs. Lynn Embrey is our current Minister of Music, having come on staff in August 2013.  Her experience spans a period of more than 30 years, and includes serving as Interim Minister of Music at Falmouth Baptist Church and as Minister of Music at both Cornerstone Baptist  and Ramoth Baptist in Stafford.  She also served as musical director of Maranatha Youth Touring Choir for several  years.

Lynn is married to Donald “JR” Embrey.  Both are Stafford County natives, and currently live in the northern part of the county with their “grandpup” Snaps, a 7 year old lab mix.  Their son serves in the US Navy, and he and his wife are currently stationed on the West Coast.

Lynn’s desire for the music and worship ministry of Bethel is to see each of its’ members become active worshipers of our Lord, singing and praising Him with their whole heart.  To achieve this, the service is designed, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to touch the heart of all who choose to worship here.

If you must put a name on it, our worship time is more of a “blended” worship, using both traditional and more current hymns and worship songs.
