Baptism
- What is Baptism?
- Baptism does not save you. Baptism is a symbol that you are already saved.It is a way to tell or show fellow Believers that are not ashamed of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
- Who Should be Baptized?
- Everyone who has trusted Jesus as their Lord and Savior should be baptized. "Those who accepted his message were baptized." Acts 2:41 (NIV)
- When Should I Be Baptized?
- As soon as possible!
- New Testament followers of Jesus were baptized immediately after putting their trust in Him as their Lord and Savior.
- Bethel baptizes believers during our Sunday morning services.
- As soon as possible!
- Why Should I Be Baptized?
- Jesus commanded it. "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19 (NIV)
- It is an act of obedience.
- It is a public declaration of your Faith. "Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in Heaven." Matthew 10:32 (NIV)

- Where Will I Be Baptized?
- We baptize believers at Bethel in our heated baptismal pool, behind the choir.
- How Will I Be Baptized?
- Believer's baptism is by immersion. It represents the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
